With the expansion of Impact Energy’s established Service Division into Saskatoon, we are seeking an Electrical Journeyperson to join our growing Service Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company with a strong support system, while also being part of something new from the beginning. The successful applicant will primarily focus on hands-on service work, including troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining customer equipment, as well as wiring and installing equipment on Commercial, Agriculture, Farm and smaller projects.
Beyond the day-to-day electrical work, this role offers the opportunity to help build Impact Energy’s presence in Saskatoon. You will develop strong customer relationships, contribute to the growth of our local client base, and play an important role in shaping the customer experience and reputation of our Saskatoon Service Division. You will also organize project materials and provide guidance to Apprentices working alongside you as they develop their skills. As our Saskatoon Service Division grows, you will have the opportunity to grow with it while being supported by the experience and resources of Impact Energy’s established Service Division.
Our team would love to hear from you if you have:
✓ Hold a valid Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as a Construction Electrician
✓ Working from heights, including work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs
✓ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches, laying conduit, and lifting and moving heavier objects
✓ Ensuring all safety certificates are up to date and valid
✓ Valid and clean class 5 drivers license, endorsements are an asset
✓ Able to complete a Criminal Record Check
Well, we do a lot of things Oil & Gas, Mining, Agriculture, Commercial, but today we are focusing on Service. Here we go!
✓ Operating and using tools and equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring and testing devices, power tools and trenching
✓ Pulling and terminating wire
✓ Installing electrical equipment
✓ Building and laying conduit
✓ Motor wiring and control
✓ Overseeing installation of electrical equipment
✓ Troubleshooting and issues that arise, and recommending repairs or replacement options
✓ Planning and organizing materials for each job you will be working on
✓ Sourcing from vendors if needed
✓ Executing maintenance agreements
✓ Completing time, equipment and material records
✓ Ensuring electrical equipment installs meet or exceed code and manufacturer requirements
✓ Bringing new estimates back from service calls
✓ Keeping customers updated on timelines and “life of a service call”
✓ Completing safety documentation and sign offs are completed daily or as needed
✓ Keeping work area neat and tidy
✓ Leading and providing feedback to Apprentices
✓ Ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of your assigned service truck, is completed

With exciting new opportunities and partnerships, Impact is seeking an Electrical Project Manager, to join our Industrial Team. The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and financial performance of assigned projects; leading communication across all project stakeholders and ensures that work is properly resourced and planned for seamless field execution; and supporting the Field Team with project execution. You will also manage client’s expectations, to ensure Impact Energy’s brand promise of being the most responsive, trusted and professional electrical contractor is upheld.
The Project Manager position will be based out of our Saskatoon Office, working Monday to Friday. Because Impact Energy works on projects across Saskatchewan, there might be sometimes when you need to make short site visits.
Our team would love to hear from you if you have:
- A Red Seal Electrician certification, Electrical Technologist Diploma or Electrical Engineer Degree
- A minimum 5 years experience working on Industrial sites, including project coordination, and/or supervision roles
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes and regulations
- Proficiency in using design and analysis software relevant to electrical engineering
- An Eagerness to be great and grow personally and professionally
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to safety and quality standards in all project activities
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- The ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check
- A valid and clean class 5 drivers license, endorsements are an asset
You will be responsible for leading project excellence by:
- Leading all aspects of project setup including budgets, cost codes, documentation and resource planning.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, with clear milestones and critical path.
- Facilitate detailed pre-job planning alongside Construction Managers and Foremen.
- Own the project budgets and profitability, monitoring cost performance and preparing accurate monthly forecasts.
- Tracking change orders, delays and scope adjustments in real-time.
- Collaborate with accounting and operations to manage WIP, AR and invoicing cycles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients, managing expectations.
- Collaborate with Construction Managers to ensure sites are set up to succeed.
- Support the Field Team with real-time coordination, RFI responses, resourcing, and schedule updates.
- Ensuring safety, quality and system requirements are supported through planning and documentation.
- Maintaining all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, RFIs and submittals.

- Saskatchewan Electrical License
