Cheers to 15 YEARS!

15 years ago, 2 small town Saskatchewan guys saw an opportunity to shake things up in the electrical industry by delivering services in an extremely responsive way; Boyd Kampen and Tyler Gilchrist started Impact Energy Services with a simple idea: be quick to respond, show up on time, and treat every customer like a partner. Impact Energy Services got it’s name because Boyd and Tyler wanted every meeting, every handshake, and every project to make a real difference.
From a shop around the size of a garage package, Impact has grown into a 100+ person team with office locations in Rosetown and Saskatoon, running three powerhouse divisions:
  • Commercial Projects
  • Oil & Gas
  • Industrial/Mining
Each division is led by home-grown leaders who started in the field and never forgot the mission: building and supporting our people and communities.

The real story isn’t the growth on paper. It’s the people. It’s the journeyman who started as a summer student and now runs an entire division. It’s the service team that drops everything when a farmer’s grain dryer goes down in the middle of harvest.

Because being responsive isn’t a core value; it’s muscle memory.

Today, Impact lives its values every day — responsive, transparent, full of energy and enthusiasm, and making an impact. We create meaningful careers with training, growth, and long-term opportunity.
We pride ourselves in giving back to the community in a big way: over 4000 volunteer hours have been donated by our team, we’ve sponsored over 50 youth sports teams, and provided $10,000 in trade scholarships for the next generation.

Over the past 15 years, our donations and sponsorships have totaled over $550,000.

What began with two guys in a small garage-sized shop, is now a Saskatchewan success story built on trust, hard work, and heart.

We want to thank our customers, our talented and dedicated team, and our communities for 15 years of support!

The best is still ahead, because this crew is just getting warmed up.
